Big Boy Steel
Made of Steel, Now In Rifle And Carbine

h012-large

The 7 lbs. steel Big Boy hangs its 20” round barrel and checkered walnut furniture on a matte-finished blued steel frame that’s drilled & tapped for optional scope mounts, and uses the same adjustable Western-style sights as the standard Big Boy, with the same sliding transfer bar “safety” system in its hammer. Most of the weight savings is due to the steel frame being lighter than a brass counterpart to begin with, and less steel in the thinner barrel walls than an octagon version.

To make sure the steel Big Boy stays easy on the shoulder in any of its three calibers, the .357 Magnum/.38 Special, .44 Magnum/.44 Special, and .45 Colt; we’ve added a ventilated rubber recoil pad. For hands-free hiking up or down, it wears sling swivel studs; and we’ve also added a rifle-style fore-end cap instead of the usual carbine-type barrel band.

A perfect choice for the new straight-walled cartridge hunting laws in Ohio, Indiana, Southern Michigan, and those pending in other areas; with its subdued no-spook-em dark finish and easy-to-maneuver dimensions, we’ve got that brand new deer rifle you’ve been looking for right here.

And, the 2015 success of the Big Boy Steel model led to the 2016 introduction of the Big Boy Steel Carbine, in the same three calibers, with the same blued frame and round barrel, this time in 16.5” length. It comes with our glove-friendly oversized lever, and a seven-round magazine capacity. Nearly a half-pound lighter, and with an overall length of 34”, this is one trim partner to your favorite revolver in any of those three calibers, and it’s a great compact trailgun on its own.

U.S. Survival AR-7 Rifle

Don’t Leave Civilization Without One

Since 1959 the venerable AR-7 has been the choice of U.S. Air Force pilots who need a small-caliber rifle they can count on should they have to punch out over a remote area. Through the years the AR-7’s reputation for portability, ease of operation and reliability has carried over to the civilian world. Today it’s a favorite of bush pilots, backpackers and backcountry adventurers who, like their Air Force counterparts, need a rifle that’s easy to carry yet has the accuracy to reliably take down small game.

Survival-open

Like the original Henry U.S. Survival Rifle, this innovative, semi-automatic model is lightweight (3.5 lbs.) and highly portable. At just 16.5″ long, when all the components are stowed, it easily fits into the cargo area of a plane, boat or in a backpack. It’s chambered in .22 LR so you can carry a large quantity of ammunition without adding much weight to your gear.

When disassembled the pieces fit inside the impact-resistant, water resistant stock. Assembly is as easy as attaching the receiver to the stock, inserting the barrel, and screwing on the nut. In a few seconds, without any tools, the Henry U.S. Survival AR-7 is ready for action. It comes standard with a sturdy steel barrel covered in tough ABS plastic that’s coated with Teflon™ for complete protection against corrosion. It’s engineered for perfect balance and the ability to maintain its tack-driving accuracy, even after thousands of rounds.

Survival-xray

The receiver is also coated with Teflon™ for superior weatherproofing and waterproof protection, even in harsh saltwater environments. The updated receiver is grooved, making it easy to top off with your favorite optics.

Steve McQueen

Back in the heyday of the TV Western, Steve McQueen, the star of “Wanted: Dead or Alive,” rode across black-and-white screens toting a sidearm like nothing any lawman or outlaw had carried before. A cut-down, modified version of repeating rifle, this recognizable shootin’ iron could be holstered like a pistol but fired with the speed of lever-action rifle. Nicknamed the Mare’s Leg, this innovative weapon swiftly brought outlaws to justice every week and rose to fame as the real star of the short-lived show. Now fans of those classic Westerns and collectors of innovative firearms can holster a replica of that famous made-for-TV sidearm.

Built in the USA, to Henry’s world-renowned standards of quality, the Mare’s Leg is available in your choice of .45 COLT or in .22 S/L/LR.

The Henry Mare’s Leg .45 Colt is a modified variation of the Henry model H006C Big Boy .45 Colt. The Henry Mare’s Leg .22 S/L/LR a modified variation of the model H001 Henry Lever Action.

The Perennial Choice of the Deer Hunter

30-30-Rifle1

From the Northwoods to the Texas hill country and in every deer camp and lodge in between, the .30-30 rifle remains the perennial choice of whitetail hunters. More than just another deer cartridge, the venerable .30-30 has been the king of deer calibers since the first rifle chambered in this ageless round was produced in 1894. In fact, it’s a safe bet that in the past century, no other round has put more antlers on the wall and venison in the freezer than the .30-30. So it only made sense that Henry, America’s most storied rifle maker, would produce a rifle chambered for this legendary caliber. This latest addition to our world-famous line of lever-action repeaters was built with the traditional deer hunter in mind. Like its predecessors, it’s both lightweight (just 7 to 8.3lbs.) and maneuverable (39″ long), – the perfect combination for hunting in dense timber and heavy brush.

Like every Henry rifle, it’s 100% American made, with its select American walnut stock and forearm, it is a masterpiece of finely crafted gunsmithing. The Henry H009 has a steel receiver and a round blued steel barrel that is machined with state of the art multiple groove rifling.

The H009B has a visually impressive 20″ octagon barrel and a handsome brass receiver and brass barrel band. Both rifles are drilled and tapped for easy scope mounting. The magazine holds five rounds that chamber quickly and smoothly thanks to our crisp, perfectly machined action.

If you’re a deer hunter who wants to carry a rifle like dad and grandpa did back in the “good ol’ days,” treat yourself to a Henry .30-30 and relive the golden era of deer hunting while starting a few traditions of your own.

Henry .45/70 Lever Action from £1018 inc vat

Henry .45/70 Lever Action from £1018 inc vat

45-70-Large

A caliber that traces its origins from the battlefield to its modern-day presence in hunting camps across the country.

Our lever gun offerings have progressed from .17 and .22 caliber rimfires, to pistol cartridge centerfires and in 2011 to the most popular deer-hunting caliber of all – the .30-30. Now for 2012 we are introducing a new model chambered for a famous cartridge capable of handling even the largest game in North America. That’s right: We now make .45-70 lever actions!

Introduced by the U.S. Army in 1873, this cartridge was first known as the .45 Government. As it made its way into commercially produced firearms the name .45-70 appeared, because it was loaded with a 70 grain blackpowder charge with 405 and 500 grain bullets. Virtually all rifle making companies of the late 19th century chambered their single shots and lever actions for the .45-70. As those companies and their rifles faded away, the .45-70’s popularity did not. Factory .45-70 ammunition has been cataloged continuously since 1873 but never in the variety of loadings available now, in the 21st century. They range from 405 grain lead bullet, low-velocity loads for deer hunting and target shooting to high-velocity 300 to 400 grain jacketed bullet ones meant for large game.

Our new Model H010 .45-70 can handle them all. Its receiver is blued steel fitted with an 18.43″ round barrel underneath and a tubular magazine of four-round capacity. Its pistol-grip buttstock and steel-capped forend are crafted of beautiful American walnut and cut with checkering to provide a sure grip. The buttstock wears a soft rubber pad to help shooters handle .45-70 recoil from a 7.08 lb. rifle. The model H010 will be factory issued with XS Ghost Ring rear peep sight with blade front. Because the receiver is drilled and tapped, scope mounting is an easy option.

If you need a handy yet powerful lever gun capable of fast repeat shots in the bear country of Alaska, or just a short, light rifle for deer hunting in the mountains of Pennsylvania, our new Model H010 will provide the accuracy and reliability you can count on.
